1. Who we are
Unveil is a software service operated by Vladimir Novik, trading as Averix, Piazza Guido Rossa 12 int. 9, 17100 Savona (SV), Italy, VAT number (P.IVA) 01863160097 (“Unveil”, “we”, “us”). Contact:
We act as data controller for the personal data of our users (account and billing data). For the store data that sellers connect to Unveil, we act as data processor on behalf of the seller, who remains the controller.
2. Data we collect
- Emails you send us: your email address and the content of your message, including early access requests sent from the website. The early access button opens your own email app; the website itself does not collect or store what you write.
- Account data: name, email address, company name and VAT number you provide when signing up.
- Billing data: subscription status and invoices. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Store data from TikTok Shop, only after you authorise Unveil, with read-only access:
- shop information (shop name, shop ID, region);
- financial data (statements, payments, settlement and order-level transactions, fees);
- product data (product titles, SKUs).
- Uploaded files: settlement or payout reports you upload manually (CSV).
- Technical data: server logs (IP address, timestamps, errors) needed to operate and secure the service.
- Website analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not track you across websites.
Unveil does not request access to buyer personal data such as names, addresses or phone numbers of your customers.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To respond to your email and early access request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract).
- To understand how the website is used in aggregate (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest).
- To provide the service — margin calculation, payout reconciliation and reports (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, performance of a contract).
- To bill subscriptions and meet tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, legal obligation).
- To keep the service secure and fix errors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest).
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your data.
- We do not aggregate or combine your store data with other sellers’ data for our own purposes.
- We do not use your data for advertising or to train machine learning models.
- We do not modify anything in your TikTok Shop account.
5. Service providers
We share data only with providers needed to operate Unveil, under data processing agreements:
- Contabo GmbH (Germany) — application hosting and database (European Union);
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, DNS, network security and privacy-friendly analytics;
- Proton AG — email hosting (Switzerland);
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. — payment processing.
Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, transfers are protected by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. Where and how long we store data
Store data and account data are stored in the European Union. We keep store data while your shop is connected. If you disconnect your shop or delete your account, we delete the related store data within 30 days. Invoices are kept for 10 years as required by Italian law. Early access emails are kept until you sign up or for 12 months, whichever comes first.
7. Security
All connections are encrypted with TLS. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to the operator of Unveil. Details are described on our Security page.
8. Disconnecting TikTok Shop
You can revoke Unveil’s access at any time in TikTok Shop Seller Center or from your Unveil account. After revocation we stop collecting data and delete it as described in section 6.

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If you choose a language with the language switcher, we store your choice in a lang cookie for one year so the site opens in that language next time. Strictly necessary technical cookies may also be set by Cloudflare for security. These cookies are needed for the features you use and do not require consent.

We will publish any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. For material changes we will notify registered users by email.
